🖐️ Practice Typing DF
D is typed with your left middle finger and F is typed with your left index finger. These two keys are next to each other on the home row. These exercises help you build coordination and muscle memory while typing D and F without looking at the keyboard.
How to Type D and F Correctly
The letters D and F are two of the main left-hand home-row keys used in touch typing. Press D with your left middle finger and F with your left index finger.
Keep your left hand relaxed and positioned on the home row. Your middle finger should rest naturally on D while your index finger rests on F. Practice moving between the two keys without looking down at the keyboard.
The letter D is typed with your left middle finger. The letter F is typed with your left index finger. Both fingers should return to their home-row positions after each keystroke.
Practicing D and F together teaches your left middle finger and index finger to move independently. It also builds the coordination needed for longer home-row typing exercises.
