The number 6 is typed with your right index finger. Keep your right hand positioned on the home row and reach upward to the 6 key while keeping your other fingers relaxed.
This lesson uses four short drills — a single tap, a double tap, a triple tap, and a building rhythm from one to five numbers — to help your index finger learn the correct distance and movement without looking down at the keyboard.
Your right index finger. Reach upward to press 6, then return your finger toward the J key on the home row.
The 6 key is on the top number row, directly above the Y and H area of a standard QWERTY keyboard.
