🖐️ Type QWERTY

QWERTY is the first six-letter sequence on the top row of a standard keyboard. Practice Q, W, E, R, T, and Y together to build accuracy, finger coordination, and muscle memory for the top row.

How to Type QWERTY Correctly

QWERTY is made up of six keys on the top row of a standard keyboard: Q, W, E, R, T, and Y. Q is typed with the left pinky, W with the left ring finger, E with the left middle finger, R and T with the left index finger, and Y with the right index finger.

These four exercises begin with the QWERTY sequence, then introduce alternating key combinations and progressively longer patterns. Practice without looking down and return your fingers toward their home-row positions after each reach.
