Welcome to Rocket Typing — a free online typing test and competition platform. By using our website, you agree to these terms.

                📌 Summary: Free to use for personal purposes. No cheating. One attempt per Sunday Championship. We are governed by the laws of India.
            

✅ Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Rocket Typing, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

🎯 Use of Service

Rocket Typing offers three test modes (Time, Words, Quotes), three difficulty levels (Easy, Medium, Hard), an interactive Learn section, a Rocket Race game, a Coding Practice mode covering 13 programming languages, a Sunday Championship, and two personal scoring systems (Musk Score and Elon Score). All features are free to use for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

Copy, modify, or distribute the site's code or content without permission
Use bots, scripts, or any automated tools to improve or manipulate your scores — including WPM, accuracy, Musk Score, or Elon Score
Attempt to hack, exploit, or disrupt the service or its database
Use offensive, impersonating, or misleading usernames on the leaderboard
Artificially inflate your Musk Score or Elon Score through any means other than genuine human typing

🏆 Sunday Championship Rules

The Sunday Championship is a weekly typing competition with a cash prize. By participating, you agree to these specific rules:

Each registered user may submit one attempt per Sunday. Multiple attempts are not permitted.
Scores must be achieved through genuine human typing. Use of any automation, macros, or assistance tools is strictly forbidden and results in immediate disqualification.
The prize is awarded to the participant with the highest score (WPM × Accuracy) by end of Sunday in their local time.
Prize amounts are displayed in the winner's local currency as an approximation. Actual payout is at Rocket Typing's discretion and subject to verification.
We reserve the right to withhold prizes if cheating or manipulation is suspected.
Championship results are final. Disputes should be submitted via email within 48 hours of results.

🚀 Musk Score & ⚡ Elon Score

Rocket Typing tracks two personal scoring systems that reflect your time investment and skill development.

Musk Score accrues at a rate of 1 point per 60 seconds of genuine typing time. It is stored locally on your device and optionally synced to the cloud when you are logged in. Musk Score has no leaderboard and is a personal metric only.
Elon Score is recalculated once per completed 60-minute typing session using your average WPM, average accuracy, and an improvement bonus. Your top Elon Score is stored in Firestore under your account and appears on the global Elon Leaderboard (top 10).
Both scores must be earned through genuine human typing. Any manipulation — including leaving the tab open idle, using macros, or exploiting session boundaries — is a violation of these terms and may result in your scores being reset or your account being removed.
Elon Score shown on the leaderboard is the highest score ever recorded for your account. It cannot decrease unless your account is deleted.

👤 User Accounts

When you register, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information including your real country. Usernames must be 3–15 characters and contain only letters, numbers, and underscores.

⚠️ No Warranty

The service is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind. We are not responsible for any loss of data, typing scores, or unavailability of the service.

🔒 Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code on Rocket Typing is the property of Rocket Typing. You may not reproduce or redistribute it without explicit written permission.

⚖️ Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of this service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India.

📬 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
