About the Barbados typing test
Type your way through Barbados: Bridgetown, Bathsheba and Speightstown, history from Arawak to Colony, and everyday things such as cricket and rum. Check your WPM with Barbados words and download a certificate with the Barbados flag.
Words in this test come from Barbados: places such as Bridgetown, Bathsheba and Speightstown; history including Arawak, Colony and Sugar; and everyday things like cricket, rum and calypso. They are mixed with common English words, so every round is different. When time is up, enter your name and your certificate is issued with the Barbados flag, your net WPM, accuracy and proficiency level.

How your score is calculated
Every result follows the standard typing-test formulas, and the same numbers are printed on your certificate.

A character is any letter, number, punctuation mark or space you type; five characters count as one standard word. A word is incorrect if it does not match the passage exactly, including capital letters and punctuation. A mistake you correct with Backspace still counts against accuracy. Pasting is disabled, and the timer starts at your first keystroke and ends at exactly the test duration.
