The timer starts with your first keystroke. Press Space after each word.
About the Thailand typing test
Bangkok, Phuket and Chiang Mai, the Grand Palace and Ayutthaya, the kingdom of Siam and the Chakri dynasty. Pad thai, tuk-tuks and Songkran make a very Thai typing test.
Words in this test come from Thailand: places such as Bangkok, Phuket and Chiang; history including Siam, Kingdom and Sukhothai; and everyday things like pad, thai and curry. They are mixed with common English words, so every round is different. When time is up, enter your name and your certificate is issued with the Thailand flag, your net WPM, accuracy and proficiency level.

How your score is calculated
Every result follows the standard typing-test formulas, and the same numbers are printed on your certificate.
| Gross WPM | (characters typed ÷ 5) ÷ minutes |
| Net WPM | Gross WPM − (incorrect words ÷ minutes) |
| Accuracy | (keystrokes − incorrect keystrokes) ÷ keystrokes |
A character is any letter, number, punctuation mark or space you type; five characters count as one standard word. A word is incorrect if it does not match the passage exactly, including capital letters and punctuation. A mistake you correct with Backspace still counts against accuracy. Pasting is disabled, and the timer starts at your first keystroke and ends at exactly the test duration.
