About the Cuba typing test
Type your way through Cuba: Havana, Varadero and Trinidad, history from Taino to Columbus, and everyday things such as cigars and rum. Check your WPM with Cuba words and download a certificate with the Cuba flag.
Words in this test come from Cuba: places such as Havana, Varadero and Trinidad; history including Taino, Columbus and Colony; and everyday things like cigars, rum and mojito. They are mixed with common English words, so every round is different. When time is up, enter your name and your certificate is issued with the Cuba flag, your net WPM, accuracy and proficiency level.

How your score is calculated
Every result follows the standard typing-test formulas, and the same numbers are printed on your certificate.
| Gross WPM | (characters typed ÷ 5) ÷ minutes |
| Net WPM | Gross WPM − (incorrect words ÷ minutes) |
| Accuracy | (keystrokes − incorrect keystrokes) ÷ keystrokes |
A character is any letter, number, punctuation mark or space you type; five characters count as one standard word. A word is incorrect if it does not match the passage exactly, including capital letters and punctuation. A mistake you correct with Backspace still counts against accuracy. Pasting is disabled, and the timer starts at your first keystroke and ends at exactly the test duration.
