About the Ecuador typing test
Type your way through Ecuador: Quito, Guayaquil and Cuenca, history from Inca to Cañari, and everyday things such as bananas and cocoa. Check your WPM with Ecuador words and download a certificate with the Ecuador flag.
Words in this test come from Ecuador: places such as Quito, Guayaquil and Cuenca; history including Inca, Cañari and Spanish; and everyday things like bananas, cocoa and roses. They are mixed with common English words, so every round is different. When time is up, enter your name and your certificate is issued with the Ecuador flag, your net WPM, accuracy and proficiency level.

How your score is calculated
Every result follows the standard typing-test formulas, and the same numbers are printed on your certificate.
| Gross WPM | (characters typed ÷ 5) ÷ minutes |
| Net WPM | Gross WPM − (incorrect words ÷ minutes) |
| Accuracy | (keystrokes − incorrect keystrokes) ÷ keystrokes |
A character is any letter, number, punctuation mark or space you type; five characters count as one standard word. A word is incorrect if it does not match the passage exactly, including capital letters and punctuation. A mistake you correct with Backspace still counts against accuracy. Pasting is disabled, and the timer starts at your first keystroke and ends at exactly the test duration.
