About the Gabon typing test
Type your way through Gabon: Libreville, Port and Gentil, history from Fang to Bantu, and everyday things such as rainforest and gorillas. Check your WPM with Gabon words and download a certificate with the Gabon flag.
Words in this test come from Gabon: places such as Libreville, Port and Gentil; history including Fang, Bantu and Colonial; and everyday things like rainforest, gorillas and elephants. They are mixed with common English words, so every round is different. When time is up, enter your name and your certificate is issued with the Gabon flag, your net WPM, accuracy and proficiency level.

How your score is calculated
Every result follows the standard typing-test formulas, and the same numbers are printed on your certificate.
| Gross WPM | (characters typed ÷ 5) ÷ minutes |
| Net WPM | Gross WPM − (incorrect words ÷ minutes) |
| Accuracy | (keystrokes − incorrect keystrokes) ÷ keystrokes |
A character is any letter, number, punctuation mark or space you type; five characters count as one standard word. A word is incorrect if it does not match the passage exactly, including capital letters and punctuation. A mistake you correct with Backspace still counts against accuracy. Pasting is disabled, and the timer starts at your first keystroke and ends at exactly the test duration.
