About the Iceland typing test
Type your way through Iceland: Reykjavik, Akureyri and Thingvellir, history from Vikings to Settlement, and everyday things such as geysers and volcanoes. Check your WPM with Iceland words and download a certificate with the Iceland flag.
Words in this test come from Iceland: places such as Reykjavik, Akureyri and Thingvellir; history including Vikings, Settlement and Althing; and everyday things like geysers, volcanoes and glaciers. They are mixed with common English words, so every round is different. When time is up, enter your name and your certificate is issued with the Iceland flag, your net WPM, accuracy and proficiency level.

How your score is calculated
Every result follows the standard typing-test formulas, and the same numbers are printed on your certificate.

A character is any letter, number, punctuation mark or space you type; five characters count as one standard word. A word is incorrect if it does not match the passage exactly, including capital letters and punctuation. A mistake you correct with Backspace still counts against accuracy. Pasting is disabled, and the timer starts at your first keystroke and ends at exactly the test duration.
