About the Mexico typing test
Mexico City, Cancun and Chichen Itza, the Aztecs, the Maya and the Mexican Revolution. Tacos, mariachi and Day of the Dead give this test plenty of colour.
Words in this test come from Mexico: places such as Mexico, Cancun and Tulum; history including Aztec, Maya and Olmec; and everyday things like tacos, tortillas and guacamole. They are mixed with common English words, so every round is different. When time is up, enter your name and your certificate is issued with the Mexico flag, your net WPM, accuracy and proficiency level.

How your score is calculated
Every result follows the standard typing-test formulas, and the same numbers are printed on your certificate.
| Gross WPM | (characters typed ÷ 5) ÷ minutes |
| Net WPM | Gross WPM − (incorrect words ÷ minutes) |
| Accuracy | (keystrokes − incorrect keystrokes) ÷ keystrokes |
A character is any letter, number, punctuation mark or space you type; five characters count as one standard word. A word is incorrect if it does not match the passage exactly, including capital letters and punctuation. A mistake you correct with Backspace still counts against accuracy. Pasting is disabled, and the timer starts at your first keystroke and ends at exactly the test duration.
