About the Namibia typing test
Type your way through Namibia: Windhoek, Swakopmund and Walvis, history from Himba to Herero, and everyday things such as desert and dunes. Check your WPM with Namibia words and download a certificate with the Namibia flag.
Words in this test come from Namibia: places such as Windhoek, Swakopmund and Walvis; history including Himba, Herero and San; and everyday things like desert, dunes and giraffes. They are mixed with common English words, so every round is different. When time is up, enter your name and your certificate is issued with the Namibia flag, your net WPM, accuracy and proficiency level.

How your score is calculated
Every result follows the standard typing-test formulas, and the same numbers are printed on your certificate.
| Gross WPM | (characters typed ÷ 5) ÷ minutes |
| Net WPM | Gross WPM − (incorrect words ÷ minutes) |
| Accuracy | (keystrokes − incorrect keystrokes) ÷ keystrokes |
A character is any letter, number, punctuation mark or space you type; five characters count as one standard word. A word is incorrect if it does not match the passage exactly, including capital letters and punctuation. A mistake you correct with Backspace still counts against accuracy. Pasting is disabled, and the timer starts at your first keystroke and ends at exactly the test duration.
