About the Nepal typing test
Type your way through Nepal: Kathmandu, Pokhara and Lumbini, history from Buddha to Gurkhas, and everyday things such as momos and dal. Check your WPM with Nepal words and download a certificate with the Nepal flag.
Words in this test come from Nepal: places such as Kathmandu, Pokhara and Lumbini; history including Buddha, Gurkhas and Shah; and everyday things like momos, dal and bhat. They are mixed with common English words, so every round is different. When time is up, enter your name and your certificate is issued with the Nepal flag, your net WPM, accuracy and proficiency level.

How your score is calculated
Every result follows the standard typing-test formulas, and the same numbers are printed on your certificate.
| Gross WPM | (characters typed ÷ 5) ÷ minutes |
| Net WPM | Gross WPM − (incorrect words ÷ minutes) |
| Accuracy | (keystrokes − incorrect keystrokes) ÷ keystrokes |
A character is any letter, number, punctuation mark or space you type; five characters count as one standard word. A word is incorrect if it does not match the passage exactly, including capital letters and punctuation. A mistake you correct with Backspace still counts against accuracy. Pasting is disabled, and the timer starts at your first keystroke and ends at exactly the test duration.
