About the Solomon Islands typing test
Type your way through Solomon Islands: Honiara, Gizo and Munda, history from Navigators to Mendana, and everyday things such as coconut and taro. Check your WPM with Solomon Islands words and download a certificate with the Solomon Islands flag.
Words in this test come from Solomon Islands: places such as Honiara, Gizo and Munda; history including Navigators, Mendana and Colony; and everyday things like coconut, taro and fish. They are mixed with common English words, so every round is different. When time is up, enter your name and your certificate is issued with the Solomon Islands flag, your net WPM, accuracy and proficiency level.

How your score is calculated
Every result follows the standard typing-test formulas, and the same numbers are printed on your certificate.
| Gross WPM | (characters typed ÷ 5) ÷ minutes |
| Net WPM | Gross WPM − (incorrect words ÷ minutes) |
| Accuracy | (keystrokes − incorrect keystrokes) ÷ keystrokes |
A character is any letter, number, punctuation mark or space you type; five characters count as one standard word. A word is incorrect if it does not match the passage exactly, including capital letters and punctuation. A mistake you correct with Backspace still counts against accuracy. Pasting is disabled, and the timer starts at your first keystroke and ends at exactly the test duration.
