About the Sri Lanka typing test
Type your way through Sri Lanka: Colombo, Kandy and Galle, history from Kingdom to Lion, and everyday things such as tea and cinnamon. Check your WPM with Sri Lanka words and download a certificate with the Sri Lanka flag.
Words in this test come from Sri Lanka: places such as Colombo, Kandy and Galle; history including Kingdom, Lion and Rock; and everyday things like tea, cinnamon and rice. They are mixed with common English words, so every round is different. When time is up, enter your name and your certificate is issued with the Sri Lanka flag, your net WPM, accuracy and proficiency level.

How your score is calculated
Every result follows the standard typing-test formulas, and the same numbers are printed on your certificate.
| Gross WPM | (characters typed ÷ 5) ÷ minutes |
| Net WPM | Gross WPM − (incorrect words ÷ minutes) |
| Accuracy | (keystrokes − incorrect keystrokes) ÷ keystrokes |
A character is any letter, number, punctuation mark or space you type; five characters count as one standard word. A word is incorrect if it does not match the passage exactly, including capital letters and punctuation. A mistake you correct with Backspace still counts against accuracy. Pasting is disabled, and the timer starts at your first keystroke and ends at exactly the test duration.
