About the Uruguay typing test
Type your way through Uruguay: Montevideo, Punta and del, history from Charrua to Spanish, and everyday things such as mate and asado. Check your WPM with Uruguay words and download a certificate with the Uruguay flag.
Words in this test come from Uruguay: places such as Montevideo, Punta and del; history including Charrua, Spanish and Portuguese; and everyday things like mate, asado and chivito. They are mixed with common English words, so every round is different. When time is up, enter your name and your certificate is issued with the Uruguay flag, your net WPM, accuracy and proficiency level.

How your score is calculated
Every result follows the standard typing-test formulas, and the same numbers are printed on your certificate.
| Gross WPM | (characters typed ÷ 5) ÷ minutes |
| Net WPM | Gross WPM − (incorrect words ÷ minutes) |
| Accuracy | (keystrokes − incorrect keystrokes) ÷ keystrokes |
A character is any letter, number, punctuation mark or space you type; five characters count as one standard word. A word is incorrect if it does not match the passage exactly, including capital letters and punctuation. A mistake you correct with Backspace still counts against accuracy. Pasting is disabled, and the timer starts at your first keystroke and ends at exactly the test duration.
